A Perfect Storm of technology advances producing cheap flat screen displays and ubiquitous broadband connections has resulted in an explosion of activity in digital signage over the past few years. With an easily foreseeable future of multiple digital displays in front of our eyes in every conceivable location outside of our homes all vying for attention, there is something of the atmosphere of a gold-rush land-grab to establish a position in this brave new world.
